Des and her family

It is always nice to have friends come and visit! Love you Des!

Cheer and Hip Hop Class

You know the girls totally loved doing this!

Tumbling

This year we had Mason in tumbling. He really liked learning all the new moves!

Our Staycation!

We had a BLAST on our family "stay"cation. We went bowling, we went to Sunsplash, Chuck E Cheese, and saw Toy Story 3 at the movies.

4th of July Weekend

We had a great weekend. We had a parade on the 3rd at the ward building. On the 4th we took it easy, had Clint come over and we brought out our lawn chairs and watched the fireworks from our street. Then on Monday we got together and had a pool party at my mom's. It was lots of fun! Then after the 4th my kids took it on themselves to learn how to blow up balloons! Boy they learn fast!

The Pathfinder

All good things you know must go to an end. So we sold the Pathfinder. Yes, we are now currently down to one car, but will be getting another one soon, we will keep you posted on this one!

Father's Day

Father's day was lots of fun. We hung out at home and opened gifts, went to church, and afterwards had fun at grandma's house!

Swimming Lessons

This year we did swimming lessons through the Surprise Pool, and I must say that I miss Shelly this year.

Just fixing a window!

I thought it would be a photo taking oppertunity to take a picture of our front yard without the window!

Kids playing at Ramona's

They had so much fun, the only thing that seemed to interest them the most was all the mud, eew!

Memorial Day

We had one awesome memorial day to kick off the summer. We went and ate lunch at Alicias, of which resulted in Lizzy losing her second tooth. By the way, we never found it, we think maybe Lizzy swallowed it. Yuck! then went over and hung out at the pool, then relaxed to a nice movie and games.

Lizzy and Violet's Birthday Party

This was sooooo fun and very memorable. The kids went camping out in the back yard and each kid had a flashlight! We had pizza for dinner and peach cobbler for dessert. Lizzy lost her 1st tooth on this evening. All together it turned out to be one awesome bash, especially for us parents!

Friends just having fun

Mother's day

You'll never guess what I got for mother's day, yep, a camera!! I was so excited I took a picture of myself!

Aren't my kids soooo cute!

Well I ended up going to Alicia's house for Mother's day and it was such a BLAST! She had the most delicioso food ever! Then we relaxed and played cards. It was such a fun night I would love to do it again.

Hiking

For a few months now I have taken the time to go with my friend Kirstin hiking and it has been so much fun! We have seen everything it seems, well not everything, but close! When we first started going we saw tons on wildflowers, it was gorgeous! Even though it meant alot of bees and insects of all sorts, it still felt like it was in some magazine. Could Arizona actually be that beautiful? Now it is much drier the flowers have all gone away, but we keep plugging along doing the same thing. This last week we saw a rattle snake rattling and slithering in our direction. I thought it was so cool! I totally love hiking and better yet it is only 10 minutes away!

Jenny's graduation

We got to go to Jenny's graduation on the 1st of May at chase field. I was really excited to see her take that step in her life. I am so very proud of her and her huge accomplishment of becoming now a graduate. Again I didn't have a camera. Dang it Phoenix!

Park days

Having park days with my new group of friends have been a great support to me though all this transition to a new city. I feel free when I am with them, and it allows my kids to value friendship even more, by seeing me value it. We had so many activities from doing art to doing PE and many other things.

Easter

We had a wonderful easter with family. The kids' played with their cousins and we had cake and sandwiches, what more could you ask for? Also to have conference talks to boost, it turned out to be a great weekend! Again, I had no camera.

Valentine's day

Valentine's day was great. Dev took me to Pita Jungle, which is one of my favorite restaraunts bar none! Just for the fact you are eating healthier than your average restaraunt and don't feel like a pig afterwards. You also don't feel that they stole everything out of your pocket like other restaurants. I still don't have a camera.

Sammy's Birthday

Well, since I lost my camera in downtown, during our visit to the nutcracker I have no pics of Sammy's first birthday. It was great, it was a little low stress birthday at our house with some family members and it worked great! Man I wish all birthdays were this easy!

Christmas

Christmas was great and so much fun!

This was our field trip to the japanese friendship gardens in downtown. Isn't it gorgeous! We also took a field trip to news channel 3.

This was our day at the AZ state fair field trip just one week before we were going to move. Trust me after this things were stressful. Now, when I look back, I am sad I never saw the reenactments of the revolutionary and civil wars thing in queen creek, but it was the day we were moving so that was such a bummer! We spent alot of our field trips this year seeing ballet arizona and the phoenix symphony. The kids' favorite was Peter and the Wolf.
